Welcome to Golfers' Lodge

Golfers' Lodge No.3512
A Freemasons Lodge in the Province of Northumberland, meeting at Fern Avenue, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Who are we?
Golfers' Lodge was founded in 1911 by a group of like-minded golfers from the Gosforth Park Golf Club. Whilst interest in the game is important, it is not a pre-requisite for membership as many members are quite happy to join the active players at the “19th” on a competition day.
Why become a Freemason?
Freemasonry has been active throughout the UK (and beyond) for over three centuries and is founded on three basic principles of personal improvement, namely; Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

Brotherly Love
In the sense of respect for everyone, irrespective of race, creed, or religious belief.
Relief
Being Charity in the sense of support for all who through personal circumstances, natural events, or man-made catastrophe are reduced to “the lowest state of poverty or distress”. Recent examples include substantial Grand Charity donations to Ukrainian refugees (over £1m), British Red Cross supporting both Turkish and Syrian earthquake victims (£60,000), as well as around £40m a year of national, local and Masonic charities.
Truth
The requirement of promoting the principles of decency, integrity, honesty and friendship.
